I.Training Features:
1.Learn Chinese characters through two methods. One is to connect Chinese characters and pictures and the
other is listening-reading method. Start to learn pinyin after mastering the listening-reading method. And let the students master the way to recognize Chinese characters according to pinyin.
2.It is good for students to learn Chinese characters through multiple ways by themselves. These methods can
make great effects and are recognized by foreign learners.
3.Let students master how to recognize Chinese characters according to the pronunciation instead of pinyin.
This can make students learn more Chinese in their daily life independently.
4.Go on carrying out the idea of learning pinyin through learned words,promoting autonomic learning of Chinese
characters by learning pinyin. Try to unify the pinyin teaching and character recognition.
5.We add one more part in the pinyin learning process. That is dialect correction which can extend the
Mandarin.
6.Guide students to learn Chinese after school.

II. Learning Essentials:
1.Students can get improvements at learning ability,strategy,affection,attitude and sense of worth through
face to face learning and other activities.
2.Let the students master the learning way of listening and reading,learn more characters in their daily
lives by their own.
3.There is no upper limit on the amount of mastered character. The difference of the amount among different
students is allowed. The lower limit is 400 useful characters and 20 most useful radicals.
4.Master more than 500 characters in 'Chinese Corner'.
5.Learning the way of writing characters. Master at least 200 characters' writing way. Form the good habit of
writing correctly.
6.Read and remember about 40 articles,master some everyday expressions.
7.Communicate with people using Mandarin actively and creatively. Form the learning habits of writing,reading
and information collection gradually.
8.Train the scientific method of learning and thinking. Train the abilities of observation,judgment,memory,
imagination and creation.
III.Learning Content
The content have to be mastered includes about 30 articles. And the topics of these articles are: I,word,
picture,write,mathematics,home,sun,moon,sea,world outside,pinyin and character,hand and head,work,seasons
and growth. We will hold about 10 ’Chinese Corner’ activities in which we’ll provide plentiful exercises and key of
them and also exams every two lessons. At the same time,we’ll summarize tables for literacy,writing and
checking,name table for Chinese characters' strokes and rule table for the writing order of strokes.
